It allows fleet customers to access key vehicle information at any time such as location, fuel level, distance driven, and maintenance needs. OnStar Business Services uses the connectivity of OnStar which means no added cost or time is required to add aftermarket hardware to GM vehicles.

TAKE ADVANTAGE OF FREE ASSETS THROUGH OUR FLEET DEPARTMENT
The first step of benefiting through GM Fleet is acquiring your GMFAN! A Fleet Account Number (FAN) is your unique identifier within the GM database. It’s used to individually identify qualified fleet customers, process orders, track vehicle production and delivery, and offer incentives to specific customers.
For eligible fleets, we offer incentives and programs such as fleet-specific OnStar® plans and pricing, telematics offerings, parts discount programs, a comprehensive fleet warranty, and more.
WARRANTY
If your company has an authorized GM FAN, your new GM vehicle powertrain warranty and Roadside Assistance are extended from 5yrs/100,000km to 5yr/160,000km at no additional charge!
This is about $2,300-$2,500 in savings. Having a GM FAN has other benefits as well. GM invites all current Fleet Customers to “Ride and Drive” events.
Applying for a GM FAN (Fleet Assigned Number) is easy!
You must have a minimum of 5 vehicles unless purchasing or leasing three units or more of the current model year.

A:Â If you factory order, you can get exactly what you want, in the colours you want. It will also help save you money as you are not paying for options that you might not want. It allows you to have a uniform fleet, which can ease office politics as everyone is driving the same spec’d truck. For fleet deals, Bannister is where you want to visit!
A:Â A normal fleet order takes between 10 and 12 weeks. As a GM dealer, we work very hard to ensure orders arrive as soon as possible.
A:Â In order to purchase fleet vehicles, you need 5 registered and licensed vehicles to qualify for a fleet authorization number. Alternatively, you can also qualify by purchasing a minimum of 3 vehicles at one time.
A:Â If you have a fleet number, there are numerous programs that allow you to save money. At Bannister, we are always trying to save the customer the highest amount of money possible. If for some reason the retail credits offer more savings, we are able to use them. We will use whatever GM program offers the most savings to customers.
A:Â The company that has the fleet number has to be the registered owner in order to utilize the fleet savings. In some cases, however, there is an opportunity for savings from preferred pricing for customers of certain companies that do business with GM. We will do everything possible to ensure that you will receive the maximum savings on your vehicle purchase.
